Lynn is off on an adventure; or what she'd like to call an adventure. Cast away by her parents for her delinquent behavior, the teen travels to Brazil where her mysterious godfather lives among natives in the jungles. What Lynn isn't expecting is a journey that's not in our world.
After exploring the forbidden gardens of her godfather's estate, she comes across a peculiar mirror with strange inscriptions. Accidentally activating the mirror, Lynn is sucked into another side of the world. A place where fairytale villains like to call home.
And she isn't the only one that has fallen into this nightmare. Using her own wits and taking incredible risks, Lynn along with some untrustworthy allies, and magical talking weapons will do anything to get back on the right side of the mirror.
This isn't your ordinary story of Alice in Wonderland.

After a long anticipated wait, Annie is happy to get her best friend back home. Her summer had been pretty dull without her. But what she isn't expecting from Lynn's return is a knot of secrets.

Lynn has three things on her top priority list:
1. Save Jack .
2. Save her world and a handful of others from the powerful wicked hands of what we thought were just fairytale villains.
3. Somehow do all of the above under the noses of her parents and her confused best friend, Annie.
Now that she has revealed her true identity to her allies from the Dark Mirror, Aleaeso, they struggle to decide whether or not they wish to help her engage into a war against the Wicked. With the help of her warlock godfather ('Jean' is not what he seemed in the first book) she must gain her newly made friends' trust...
...and keep her best friend away from harm.

Nothing can prepare Lynn and her friends for what they are about to go through. All seems lost, and the Wicked have begun a war they are likely to win.
Luther plans to teach Lynn and Red how to use magic, thinking two witches may be better than one. Only, with Grimhilde on their doorstep, they may be out of time and out of luck. Not only that, but Lynn is devastated to find out that her lover is in critical condition and that her best friend has been kidnapped and may be dead...
Can Lynn save Annie and the world as we know it? Or will she have to choose?
